MABUHAY!

We are a husband (Ray) and wife (Jo) team, both registered nurse’ in the UK, with a love and passion for Filipino food, drinks and ingredients.  And it has always been frustrating for us, that whenever we crave for something from back home, we cannot find this in our local Chinese or Indian shop. Hence the idea of setting up a business that will cater to Filipinos like us, with goods (mostly food) imported from the Philippines, and available to every Filipino in the UK online. And the “Bahay Kubo sa UK” trademark was born.

We started to trial if the business model will work on the last week of September 2020, bang-on right in the middle of a pandemic, and from then on, slowly grew to what we are now.

From starting to hold our stocks in a small garage, to moving into a warehouse a month down the line, we knew then that we can make it happen, and we will.
